History of TSN 1200
TSN 1200 was launched in 1964. It was founded by Confederation Broadcasting. This foundation gave the station its CKPM call letters. In its initial days, the radio station was broadcasted at 1440 AM. The station was famous for its MOR music formats. It was often loaded with heavy news. In 1972, the radio station was bought by Baton Broadcasting. It adopted the CFGO call sign. With this change and an interesting collection of programs, the radio station moved to the Top 40 music format!
