CBC Radio 1
CBC Radio was originally aired in 1936, and is the longest-airing radio network under its corporation. The station has a range of radio styles that suit its uniquely different audiences. Aside from the news and information segments, CBC Radio One also airs music, podcasts, life sessions, interactive sessions and documentaries. The radio station targets a variety of audiences of all ages and interests, reaching them through the mentioned styles, but its main target audience would be within the youth age bracket and working-class citizens (25-54 years old)

CBC Radio One is rich in programs and styles. They include World Report and The Current that are news programs, Q which is a merged between Freestyle and The Arts Tonight which is an arts magazine show, Dispatches and Between the Covers amongst many others. Many of the programs aired on CBC Radio One are also aired as podcasts. Some shows have also been set to be distributed exclusively as podcasts including Campus and Back Story.
